Villas in Harbour Town

No matter the reason you are coming to Hilton Head, the Harbour Town area of Sea Pines will not disappoint!

Phase 4 of the Lighthouse Lane Infrastructure Improvement Project is scheduled to begin early September 2026, and is estimated to continue through early spring 2027.

- Planned work will be conducted Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, excluding major holidays. Weekend and overnight work may be necessary but will be communicated in advance.

Project Work Zone Includes:

- Lighthouse Lane, Mizzenmast Lane, Windjammer Court, Mizzenmast Court, Genoa Court

- Storm Water Drainage will take place on Windjammer Court and Mizzenmast Lane

- Milling and paving operations will take place on Mizzenmast Lane, Windjammer Court, Mizzenmast Court, Genoa Court

Project Work will Include:

- Surveying and underground utility mark outs. Please do not remove any staking or utility markings.

- Stormwater drainage upgrades: Excavation and replacement of the stormwater drainage system including pipes and catch basins.

- Temporary steel plates will be installed to cover open excavations.

- Please be aware that construction noise will occur in the project zone throughout major construction activities

- Well-pointing and dewatering operations (lowering groundwater levels to provide more stable working conditions). Overnight dewatering will be required utilizing pumping systems.

- Due to the nature of major infrastructure construction work, planned and unplanned water or utility outages in the work zone may occur. This includes possible water, sewer, internet, telephone and power interruptions.

- Demolition and construction of sidewalks, curbs, and roadways.

- Tree and lagoon work.

Traffic Management:

- Heavy machinery and construction vehicles will be traveling to and from the project site.

- Single-lane road closures and flagging operations will be in place daily, weather permitting. Temporary full lane closures may be required at times.

- Motorists should expect traffic delays, traffic detours, and be prepared to share the road with bike riders and pedestrians.

- Pedestrians and bike riders should expect delays and be prepared to stop and follow detours.

- For safety, bike riders will be required to dismount and walk bikes around the active work zones.

Temporary Parking Notice:

Temporary parking areas will be available for the properties highlighted below. Property owners, their guests/renters, and contracted service providers will need to utilize the temporary parking areas during daytime project working hours throughout the major construction period from September through the end of 2026. If you park in your driveway or parking lot overnight, your vehicle will need to be relocated to the temporary parking area by 7:00 AM.
