A nice unit that many people probably enjoy throughout the summer. Has been maintained well and the only issue is that some of the kitchen items such as the pans need to be updated.

Enjoyed the condo! Positives: beachfront with great view off of back deck. Clean. Comfortable bed , pillows, and couch. Ice maker did a pretty good job! Washer/ dryer and dish washer worked well. Super convenient to pool and beach. Negatives: found myself standing in 3 inches of water in the bath tub after a 10 minute shower . Master bedroom view onto beach made difficult by filthy windows. Needs a cleaning! Master bedroom smoke alarm non functioning…. because it had no battery ( not trivial). Toaster worked poorly because the inside element on the 2 slice toaster non functioning on any setting ( I kinda enjoy both sides of my bread toasted!)…. yeah, indeed trivial. Overall, enjoyed our stay but felt compelled to point out a few issues . Thanks!

We have stayed in Building 1 of Captains Walk several times over the past three years. This was the first time we used The Vacation Company and we were very impressed. The unit was so very clean and welcoming. Absolutely gorgeous oceanfront views.

The view from our rooms and patio was wonderful and free of trees to see the ocean. We had a lovely time and appreciated all the dishes that the kitchen had to offer. We sat out on the patio so much and listened to the ocean waves. Our rental bikes were easily stored out front of the building making it easy to get to and yet safely stored when not in use. We will visit Captain’s Walk again because of the view and how quiet it was for us in November of crowds.

This is our second time staying at Captains Walk in this unit and it’s by far our favorite property. The view is amazing, the decor is charming and comfortable and the location is ideal. It’s always hard to leave. We will definitely book again in the future.

Great condo for our stay. The view of the ocean from the veranda is incredible. Spent many hours just relaxing there and enjoying the view, including watching dolphins swim by just about every morning.

Nice, clean, not overly decorated (good) property. The check in process was smooth (complete with the necessary gate pass mailed to us ahead of time). No issues with the property during our stay. Check out process was equally smooth. We had a beautiful view of the beach from the balcony. We had a restful and relaxing stay. Wonderful!

A nice change from our usual Seaside, FL visit each summer. They had horrible weather with torrential rains there during our week, so we scored on this change. Other than condo not being ready when we arrived, the rest of the week was great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The entire process was seamless and the condo was exactly as advertised. We’ve stayed in this complex before and it’s always very private and clean. This unit specifically was perfect for our family and we will definitely be coming back. Only suggestion and this has nothing to do with the unit itself, but is for the pool to have more umbrellas. With a complex that has a lot of young families 4 umbrellas go quickly.

Very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The kitchen was well appointed, the furniture was comfortable, and the images shown online are 100% representative of the unit. The location was perfect for us thanks to walking distance to other properties within Palmetto Dunes. The rationale for rating the property manager 4/5 (and I would have chosen 4.5 if I could have) is because after I alerted them on our first day that one of the electric window blinds in the primary, ocean-facing bedroom had broken, nobody came to fix. Therefore, it was half up, half down for the entire holiday, which made the room darker and interrupted the view from the windows.

Beautifully decorated condo with all necessary needs provided. The deck with the ocean front was the best part. The daily beach walks and bike rides were thoroughly enjoyed. Loved the proximity to pickle ball and walking distance to restaurants & bars. Only exception was that the master sink & tub were draining slowly. We would love to rent this condo again next year.

My family of 4 visited, which includes 11 & 12 year old boys. Great view, very easy walk to the beach & even closer to the pool. Great area to ride bikes. Just a short ride to The General Store, Big Jim’s BBQ & Alexander’s. The condo had everything we needed! Well equipped, clean & tastefully decorated. Would definitely return.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property and condo. It was our first time to HHI but won’t be our last. I would 100% stay in this condo again.
