The first requirement I have when coming to HHI is that we are close to the ocean with a beautiful view and are able to hear the waves. This condo met that and more! So enjoyed sitting on the lovely furnished porch (comfortable furniture not hard chairs) and enjoying the view. The decor of the villa was welcoming and well thought out with the ocean motif. Amenities were perfect. Will definitely return!

We stayed here for spring break and loved every minute. We loved Shorewood. The pool and hot tub area are wonderful. It’s really essential to have a heated pool this time of year. My kids swam every single day. The view from the condo was just stunning. The inside was beautifully decorated and well-stocked. It had everything we needed. They even included some laundry pods and dishwasher pods. I appreciated that as it hasn’t been the case at other rentals.I would recommend 100%. The balcony was our favorite spot. It’s thoughtfully filled with comfy furniture so you can relax and enjoy the view and look for dolphins. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

My wife and kids, 9 and 6, enjoyed a week long stay at Shorewood. It was a great experience. It was extremely clean, comfortable beds and pillows, and the shower was absolutely amazing (planning our own bath remodel now). The sand was easy to walk nicely packed for my wife (had knee meniscus and acl repair 2 months prior). Seeing dolphins follow the shrimp boats was a pleasant surprise. We definitely have it on our list of places to return. Thank you :)

We were very impressed by how well this condo was stocked for our stay- better than any other property we have stayed in before. Everything from the kitchenware to beach towels/ chairs were nice quality and plentiful. The condo is spacious and has spectacular ocean views. The balcony is furnished with a very comfortable sectional and we spent many early mornings and happy hours there enjoying the view. The balcony even stayed dry during the tropical storm which was a bonus! We had easy walks to lots of shopping, restaurants and bars. The bed was so comfortable and the ceiling fan was quiet and efficient. MJ, our host, was very responsive to questions and gave us a wonderful restaurant recommendation for our anniversary dinner. We hated to leave and are definitely thinking about returning next year! Awesome place and location!

This condo has fabulous views, a very balcony with incredibly comfortable seating, a kitchen with every gadget you could imagine, and very tastefully decorated and maintained. The setting is perfect for walking to stores, restaurants, and night life. When you're in the condo - the exquisite views of the ocean are breathtaking. MJ was incredibly hospitable and welcoming.

My husband and I have stayed at Shorewood Villas many times. It is a great oceanfront facility with a wonderful pool. The location is very convenient to Coligny and the numerous bike paths. Unit 303 has an amazing view of the ocean from most rooms! It’s a pleasure to cook while being able to see the waves. The balcony has very nice outdoor furniture which is comfortable and versatile. There were binoculars to view the wildlife, stars, ocean, and ships! Very nice unit and well appointed.

Our family of four with two older kids stayed at MJ’s place for a week. We had a wonderful time. The condo is very clean, the beds are incredibly comfortable and all of the furnishings and supplies made us feel like we were visiting a friend’s home rather than renting a condo. The east access to the beach and the beautiful pool also made the trip. The pool is super well kept and one of the best pools we’ve ever had on a vacation. Plenty of room and tables with umbrellas and different depths. Loved how easy it was to just walk down the walkway to the beach. Beach chairs, umbrella and other supplies are in the condo which is nice. We walked to coligny a couple of times which was great to not have to drive. Would recommend!

The condo is just like the pictures. Absolutely beautiful and so conveniently located. Being able to go from the beach to the pool and back and forth was a huge plus. It was safe to leave some items down at the beach and take a break. The pool was great-good size and never a problem finding chairs in the sun or a shady spot if you wanted. The check in process was seemless. We rented bikes for the week but rarely used them as coligny was a very short walk for confee, breakfast, lunch or groceries and tons of shopping. It was a great week and we can’t wait to come back! MJ was very easy to work with and answered any questions we had along the way after booking. Great place to stay!

The condo was beautiful and the balcony overlooking the ocean was truly where we spent much of our time relaxing. Walkable area close to restaurants and shops. Our only surprise was that we were expected to wash our towels and bathroom rugs before we left as “Housekeeping did not do this.” So we had to head to the store to buy laundry soap even. On vacation don’t really plan on doing that type of chore and have never stayed at a VRBO that required this. Overall however we were really comfortable and happy with our stay.

This condo is beautiful. That view can’t be beat! The living room furniture is very comfortable. I’m not sure my husband even moved out of that recliner whenever we were there! The balcony set was also very comfortable. Loved sitting out there in the afternoon! The bed in the main bedroom was really good. We got a great night’s sleep every night. Plenty of storage space in the main bedroom and both bathrooms. We didn’t use the second bedroom but I’m sure the bed is equally comfortable. We've been to Hilton Head Island several times. This is by far the nicest place we've stayed there. The location is perfect. Lots of fun shops and restaurants within walking distance. And the beach is right there! Watch the sunrises and sunsets from the comfortable balcony or walk on down to the beach and watch from there. We were there from Christmas Eve through New Year's Day and were lucky enough to have perfect, unseasonably warm weather every day of our stay. It could not have been better! We're already planning our next visit.

MJ contacted me the day prior to arrival with concerns about work being done in neighboring buildings. (Fortunately it was not a problem.). She also invited us to check in early. This was our first visit to Hilton Head Island. And, we could not have stayed in a better location. Easy walking to area restaurants, beach bars and shops - including the grocery store. We rented bikes for a week from a vendor within walking distance. We watched dolphins swim by in the ocean from our balcony. We saw beautiful sunrises each morning. We highly recommend this location. It was a great week.

This is the perfect condo on Hilton Head. It is in very good shape and is right on the beach in one of the nicest developments. It has great ocean views and a front porch that is very private and nicely furnished. It's a short walking distance from shopping and eating at Coligny. We will return here every time we come to HH!

We really enjoyed our stay at unit 303 Shorewood, and we would stay again! It had everything we needed including a coffee maker that uses the K-cups. It was a great view from the balcony. The balcony seating was perfect, especially when we had some rain. It allowed us to lounge on the balcony and read on the rainy day. I would highly suggest that any visitor bring some bug spray, as we all had several mosquito bites mainly when getting the bikes off the rack or just outside in general-although a couple may have followed us inside:) My husband was able to figure out how to operate the TV in the living room. It was great to be able to login to our YouTube TV and Netflix account! We never did figure out how to operate the two TVs in each bedroom. Perhaps adding instructions in your book would be helpful to other tech challenged people like me:) It was the perfect distance to walk or bike to Coligny Plaza. This complex is the best on South Forest Beach Dr. Thanks!

The property location is excellent! Great views of the ocean/beach and short walk to the pool. Located close to Coligny Plaza where there’s plenty of shopping and dining. The primary bedroom had a very comfortable mattress and pillows. Plenty of dresser space for clothes. Could use a few more hangers but overall the unit met all needs. Nice beach chairs were provided.

Shorewood is a private condo complex on Hilton Head. We love the gated community large inviting pool, hot tub, and location. We stayed here before, so thought we would try same location again. This time we were in 303 a 2 bedroom, 2 bath. Our condo was decorated in the beach theme and was very beautiful. Patio looked small put we found out plenty big enough and the furniture help make it very inviting.

The condo was very clean and had all of the amenities one might expect. M.J. was accommodating and very responsive with any questions that we had. Even though it was in the mid to high 60’s outside, the heated pool was heaven to us Michiganders looking to get some sun and get away from the cold. The property was in a good location, well maintained and equipped with almost everything a guest would need. Communication with the owner was excellent. The owner provided very good information about the condo and property rules. We would definitely stay there in the future. My only negative comment would be about the check in process and gate guard. We did not see a guard until the last day of our stay. The gate was always open until the last day of our stay but this was probably due to construction/repair activities.

Thank you for sharing your vacation get-away. It was just as described with a wonderful balcony with a direct view to the ocean. The complex is well maintained with a boardwalk to the beach. We walked up to Coligny Circle for drinks on the first day. The location is perfect just a short drive to excellent restaurants. We would definitely stay again when we have a few more days for a vacation.

The condo is beautifully decorated and has a well stocked kitchen although we didn’t cook. The view is a million dollar view! It’s a short, easy walk to Coligny with shopping and restaurants. We look forward to a return visit to this perfect place.

My husband and I had the best experience in Hilton Head thanks to this condo. Perfectly located on the island, making it convenient to bike or drive pretty much anywhere. Only steps from the beach, we cherished the perfect view of the beach from the windows and balcony of this place. The pool is huge and everything is so clean. The decor and extra steps they take to make you feel comfortable and welcome is what we loved too (I.e. fun games). Can’t wait to stay here again!

This is a great condo. In the past we've stayed on the 1st floor and it was really nice having a view from this 3rd floor unit. The couch on the balcony is perfect. Inside everything is just as it looks on listing, makes you feel right at home! Shorewood in general is our favorite place to stay. Cant beat the great location, beach, pool ,ect.

We loved our stay in 303 Shorewood! Perfect location with a beautiful view of the beach/ocean. The condo was very comfortable with plenty of seating with an oversized sofa, loveseat and recliner. Very Convenient to the pool and a short walk to the beach. Everything you need for a great week at the beach!

This was for my 40th birthday and we just loved the property. Very clean, communication was perfect, check in was a breeze, kitchen was full stocked and the outdoor patio furniture was so cozy we went there every morning to enjoy the sunrise. We even had a bunny come out every morning to greet us and saw plenty of birds as well. We enjoyed doing the beach rental chairs which was much easier for us and were within walking distance to a variety of stores and shops. We would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a getaway/couples retreat!

EVERYTHING about our experience was wonderful! MJ and Scott have created a true “home away from home” with their gorgeous condo! No detail was left undone- Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, beautiful furnishings inside and out, extra towels, special touches like soaps and shampoos in the bathrooms and so important to me-immaculately kept! The condo was spacious and relaxing- enough room to congregate together or just relax in our own areas as well. The views from the balcony are amazing - day or night! The condo complex has a spectacular pool and spa- clean and very well kept! The location to shops, dining, and bike rentals are so convenient! We happened to be visiting during the onset of the COVID-19 crisis- our plans had to be modified somewhat by dining in more or only doing take out but this wasn’t an issue at all! We had everything we needed to make our week there manageable and stress free! I will definitely recommend this beautiful home to my friends and hope my family can enjoy it again in the future! The only problem was the TVs and cable. Some of the TVs are old and the cable is very basic. But we came for the beach and weather so it was fine.

I am sorry that you felt that way about the TV's. The master TV is one year old, and the second bedroom TV is about a month old. The large TV in the living room is not new, but has great reception and a wonderful picture. Not sure what the problem was. When you texted me that you couldn't get the second bedroom TV working, I sent you the simple instructions and didn't hear back from you until two days before you were leaving. I offered to come over and take a look at it..... I do hope you enjoyed the condo and everything we've done with it. Glad you enjoyed the beach and the weather. Have a wonderful fall.

The condo is decorated beautifully! We go to Hilton Head to be at the ocean and it’s fun to be immersed in sea colors, paintings and decorations. And of course the view!! We are familiar with the Shorewood and find the location perfect for walking, biking, shopping and eating out. I much prefer dealing with the owner rather than a property management company. I knew I could count on MJ from the first phone call. She not only cares about her condo, but about her guests and any needs they may have.

We stayed at this condo in mid July 2019 and everything was absolutely fantastic. The location is excellent, very close to Coligny Beach Plaza with lots of shopping, restaurants and ice cream. It’s just a few steps to the outdoor pool with exterior facilities. It’s about a two minute walk out to the gorgeous beach with fine white sand and gradual slope into the ocean for swimming. Parking was not an issue. The elevator was very conveniently located. The interior is beautiful, has absolutely everything you need for a great weeks stay including very comfortable beds and furniture. The covered deck is amazing with great outdoor furniture and a spectacular view of the ocean during the day and stars at night. Has a washer and dryer available which is nice to have. Everything is top of the line. We have rented about 10 different homes throughout the USA and this place and location is incredible!!!!

We love the property. It’s been beautifully redone. The beds/pillows were so comfy! The towels were high quality. Everything about this condo was great!! I had visited Hilton Head forty years ago, so I did not know what I would encounter many years later. The family had a wonderful vacation, while staying at 303 Shorewood. The view across the shrubbery, to the beach, was very nice. We saw rabbits and deer; which I have never seen at the beach, before this week. Although there was an enormous mass of people on the beach, we enjoyed watching the hoards play bocci ball. The condominium was clean and the furniture was in excellent condition. The appliances appear to be new; as in a year or two old. This location was perfect for us. We did not rent bikes, however there are multiple bike rentals that will deliver the bikes to your condominium property.
