Description Description
This villa has an open concept living space as you enter the kitchen which has an adjoining washer and dryer and half bath. The dining area offers seats for eight which is open to the living room that leads to a brand new Paver patio, literally steps from the water. Upstairs you will find the two bedrooms. The Master king suite has a private balcony overlooking Braddock Cove. A barn door leads you into the Master bath with dual vanities and a walk-in shower. The second guest room has a queen bed and a twin bed with sliders to a private balcony and a private bath with a tub/shower combo. Cable TV package that includes HBO, Cinemax, and Showtime for your viewing pleasure. You can also enjoy the tennis membership at South Beach Racquet Club which includes one free hour of court time per day. The Port Villa Complex has a private dock with a kayak launch to enjoy fishing or crabbing off of the dock. Steps to South Beach Marina, you have found the perfect vacation spot!

Rental guests cannot dock their boats at the Port Villa dock. Boats and trailers are not allowed in Sea Pines Resort except for property owners.

Enjoyed our stay!
Nicely updated, well-equipped and well-maintained villa right on the water’s edge of Braddock cove. Great views from both the living room and upstairs bedroom. Furnishings are attractive and comfortable. It was plenty spacious enough for us as a single couple, but it also served well for a three-couple dinner party. We will probably re-book for next year.

Vacation Company was awesome to work with. The property is in a great location with a great view. Unfortunately the townhouse is in need of some repairs and upgrades to major appliances and coffee maker. Sliding doors upstairs to balcony needs to be replaced. Windows were very dirty, which takes away from the view. Barn door to bathroom in Upstairs primary is not working properly. 2nd bedroom bathroom needs upgrading. HVAC system is so loud it sounds like an airplane when it is on. For the money we spent it was ok, it could be better with some TLC and upgrades.

Best Condo on Sea Pines!
We’ve stayed in this unit multiple times and just booked again for the 3rd time since it’s been totally renovated. The location is fantastic for us and the views of the sunrise are something special. This visit was out first over Christmas and while we had fun and the condo was fab the weather wasn’t. Didn’t matter, the kitchen is so well equipped I was able to roast an entire duck and all the sides for our dinner and we splurged and binge watched a great show on Peacock. I’m a cook and love that I don’t have to bring anything from home except my food. They even have good knives and a gas grill. Beds are comfy, sofa and chairs are inviting and a massive dining table along with fast WiFi round it out. A roomy table on the porch, too. Nice towels and sheets. Would appreciate a better shower head in second bath and a couple more bed pillows. Fun decor with a cool lobster trap lamp. We’ve been going to Sea Pines at least once a year for 20+ years and this is our favorite rental ever. If I could buy this unit I would in a minute. We go to HHI to chill and ride our bikes and it never disappoints even if the weather isn’t the best. 5 big stars for this one! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Close to Everything but Quiet and Relaxing
Wake up to the sun rising over Braddock Cove or walk 5 minutes to the beach and watch the sunset. We really enjoyed ourselves at your villa. Our car sat parked most of the week because everything was so convenient. We rented bikes and road all over the island on the bikes trails and on the beach. We walked to the pool and the beach. We walked to South Beach Marina for several meals, ice cream and souvenirs. This was the perfect villa for us. We could walk out the front door and in a few minutes enjoy all the things South Beach had to offer or we could sit on the back patio and enjoy the calm quiet cove and conversation among friends. The villa feels brand new and had everything that we needed. We will be back.

Beautiful Views
1615 Port Villa looks brand new from top to bottom. The kitchen, baths, and furnishings are all fresh and attractive. The layout works well for a family or two couples. The location is an easy walk to the beach, and all of the attractions of South Beach are right next door. We walked over to the Salty Dog to hear live music and have cocktails, and the kids had ice cream and then went to the playground. However, we never heard any noise or had any parking issues. The best part of the location is being waterfront on Braddock Cove. The changing tides make for interesting views and good fishing off of the private dock. Sitting on the back porch at night was quiet and peaceful.

Perfect family spring break location!
We had a lovely stay at Port Villas. The location was great. We were in close proximity to salty dog and other shops, as well as a quick 10 min drive to harbour town or the grocery stores. The best part was waking up each morning having coffee on the patio overlooking the water. There were always fisherman fishing and so many birds to see too. We would absolutely love to stay here again & would recommend to friends and family.

The south beach is definitely the place to be and our villa was the place to stay. Definitely recommend to anyone and will love to stay there again. Great location and beautiful decor
The property is located close to tennis courts and the local marina where the Salty Dog cafe is. We loved the decor and cleanliness of the unit. All towels were included. There are plenty of beach access points and pool access within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything about this rental was high quality, from the well stocked kitchen, the view from the patio while grilling , to the multiple choices on the smart TV. The beds were very comfortable and the villa’s location afforded a good night sleep. Fishing from shore on Braddock Cove was excellent. We rented a boat for 5 days, with free docking at the villa’s docks and had put in 10 hour days, fishing as many miles of back country marshes as the days allowed. We golfed the next week of our stay, all the courses were in great shape. I’d highly recommend this rental.

The location was ideal for walking to the Salty Dog (to get ice cream every night!) and practically on the bike paths. The property has hooks everywhere for towels and bathing suits which was very helpful and great storage of all our outdoor items (bikes, chairs etc) right at the front of the house but out of view of passersby. The only complaint (and mostly from my 11 and 13 year olds) was the landscaping company used their blower EVERY SINGLE morning at 7:30. Not sure why they were there every morning...other than that our stay was fabulous! Very easy check in and out and we were very satisfied. Thanks for a great vacation!

Fish Haul Beach Park announced

Start date for Hilton Head Island Beach Renourishment
Project-Phase 1 shifts to mid-August

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (January 14, 2026) Marinex Construction will begin mobilizing at Fish Haul Beach Park as part of the Town of Hilton Head Island’s beach renourishment project in mid-August. Marinex updated the new start date due to adverse weather and marine conditions affecting the transfer of materials and equipment from a site off the Florida Atlantic coast.

Originally, Marinex was scheduled to start construction at Fish Haul Beach Park off Mitchelville Road on Aug. 6. Instead, mobilization is now scheduled to take place from about Aug. 13 to Sept. 1. Active beach renourishment construction is anticipated to start during the week of Sept. 2 and be completed by the week of Sept. 15 at Fish Haul. It is anticipated that Fish Haul Beach will be closed to the public for approximately five days in early September when the beach fill begins.

This is a 24/7 project.

Despite this temporary delay, survey and pre-construction activities are ongoing, and the project team remains on track to complete the renourishment work in accordance with the contract schedule windows. "As with any project of this magnitude, we anticipate that changes may arise due to various factors. We encourage the public to stay connected with us through social media and our website for any updates regarding the beach renourishment project," said Jeff Netzinger, Director of Engineering and Public Projects for the Town.

The beach renourishment project will occur in three phases, with an anticipated completion date of May 2026. The new anticipated schedule is as follows:

  • Phase 1 - Port Royal (the Heel), Fish Haul and Pine Island
    • Complete - Contractor mobilizes in August 2025.
    • Complete - Weeks of August 13, 2025 thru September 17, 2025 - Fish Haul area
    • Complete - Weeks of September 18, 2025 thru October 10, 2025 - Pine Island
    • Complete - Weeks of October 11, 2025 thru October 17, 2025 - Port Royal (The Heel)

“It’s a priority to preserve, protect and cherish our beaches – one of our greatest assets. Our Island depends on their ongoing vitality. The Town’s role is to carry out the community’s collective dedication to this environmental core value through our investment in restoration and maintenance,” said Mayor Alan Perry. “And fortunately, due to the foresight of Town leaders before us and thanks to our millions of visitors, this project is funded through our beach preservation fund and capital improvement program.”


Beach renourishment is a moving work zone that typically progresses at about 1,000 feet per section-just 2% of the Island’s total beach area. On average, only 300 feet of beach will be impacted per day. Temporary beach access ramps and clear signage will help direct beachgoers safely around active work areas to open areas of the beach. As soon as an active site is completed, the equipment will move down the beach and the newly renourished section will open.

Special protection has been made for wildlife that may be impacted because of the project. All work will be supervised by consultant teams under contract to monitor sea turtles and migratory shorebirds. Additionally, per a requirement of the beach renourishment permit from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), the Town amended its municipal code to restrict animal/dog activity in an area adjacent to Fish Haul Creek beach park. This requirement protects endangered shorebird species that migrate and nest there. Signage is posted and no other beach areas will be affected. Dogs are still allowed per the Town’s seasonal rules – only a small section of the creek area adjacent to the beach park is restricted.

Marinex Construction, Inc., the contractor for the project, began mobilizing equipment this month in preparation for the work. This includes positioning their offshore barges and staging miles of steel pipes to pump sand from ocean shoals back to beaches. Crews will be working around the clock daily.

The beach renourishment process helps to:

  • Preserve a healthy shoreline ecosystem for wildlife such as sea turtles and shorebirds.
  • Protect beachfront properties and infrastructure from storms.
  • Provide wider, more enjoyable beaches for residents and visitors alike.
