Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or some family time, this villa is great for both! The view is incredible from this 2 Bedroom, 2.5-bath villa in the South Beach area of Sea Pines Plantation. The first floor of this lovely villa has the kitchen, dining room which seats 6, half bath, and living room with stunning views of Braddock Cove. Upstairs are the two bedrooms, with the primary suite facing Braddock Cove. The covered porch is the perfect spot for your morning coffee while enjoying the abundant wildlife. The ebb and flow of the tides bring the birds and dolphins into the cove to fish. The cove is known for its Redfish and Sea Trout! If you love fishing you'll love this rental! The location is very convenient to the Salty Dog Cafe, Marina, Swimming Pool, and Tennis club! Only a 5-minute walk to everything! Rental guests cannot dock their boats at the Port Villa dock. Boats and trailers are not allowed in Sea Pines Resort except for property owners.

1607 Port Villa Five Star
This property was great inside and out. It was the right amount of space for 2 adults and 1 teenager. Having two full baths upstairs and a half downstairs was perfect. The views from the den were just stunning as the sunset each night. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to enjoy some dinners together on the back covered patio. We were able to fish from the yard when the tide was up. We walked to Salty Dog each day and took advantage of the tennis courts right by the property. Highly recommend renting bikes and riding over to Harbor town. The beach is just a short walk away and would recommend taking a walk on it when it's low tide. If you want a quiet neighborhood close to the action, this is the place to rent.

Fishing right out the back door!
We’ve stayed in this villa multiple times over the years and it is an always clean and in good condition. Easy rental, check in and checkout. Well equipped home. Best part is the covered back porch overlooking the water with comfortable furniture. Can’t go wrong with this unit especially if you enjoy fishing.

Fun Family Trip
My husband loved fishing on the cove. The place was peaceful and sweet. It is walking distance from Salty Dog Cafe and a general store. We got a yummy quiche from the general store one morning. We enjoyed having access to the swimming pool. It was nice having a kiddie pool too. We had a blast!

Nice, but definitely needs some updating. New higher toilets. Furniture needs reupholstering with sunbrella fabric. Chairs nice and comfortable, but soiled. View and location very nice.

Great location
Great location for a family beach week. It’s a 10minute walk with a toddler from the beach. Kitchen is wonderful and updated. Bathrooms are a bit old and outdated but considering you aren’t in the condo much they worked great. Overall very comfortable and convenient.

FAMILY VACATION
Our vacation was great the property is in a great location only minutes on bike from beach as well as having the bay right off your deck. The bay was nice to fish in also. Bike trails go all over the island and was also very nice to have something a little different to do and site see. The house is right around the corner from the Salty Dog and we went to the ice cream and restaurant several times, very convenient! The tennis court are also an added bonus that my kids used once a day. Our kids range from age 9-16 so there was plenty to do for all ages!

Beautiful, relaxing stay
Clean and bright condo on peaceful bay. Lovely views from kitchen/dining room, living room, and master bedroom. We spent most of our time on covered veranda overlooking the bay. Kitchen beautifully updated and stocked with all utensils needed. The beach was just a short walk and having the South Beach Marina nearby was wonderful. Salty Dog Cafe and ice cream shop, plus bike rentals are a major plus. The Vacation Company staff was helpful and friendly. We will definitely book this condo again.

Same positive comments as Amy H's review and we definitely recommend this unit to other travelers. We even saw a dolphin swimming in Bradock Cove right out our window! Management was very quick to respond with a wifi issue and missing linens for the sofa bed. Travelers should probably bring extra laundry/dish/bath soap, toilet paper....unit could use a wire brush for the grill. Those were very small issues to a very enjoyable stay.

Wonderful stay in Sea Pines
The villa is in an awesome location, within walking distance to the Salty Dog, but free of the noise. Close to the bike trails, also walking distance to the pool and tennis courts. Was great to get an hour free of court play daily and the pool was never too crowded. The villa was well stocked with cooking supplies and household cleaners, etc. Only recommendation is to have a ceiling fan in the master bedroom, could get a little warm in the evenings. The key pad for entry into the villa was fabulous as we never had to mess with keys. Check in was really convenient as well. Loved the app and constant commication. Thank you for making our stay in Hilton Head so convenient!

We have been visiting Hilton Head for more than 35 years. This location has everything we want in Hilton Head. Beautiful view of Braddock Cove. Absolute peace and quite. Yet a 3 minute walk to the fun of Salty Dog.

2025 Beach Renourishment Project 2025 Beach Renourishment Project

THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS provided by the TOWN OF HILTON HEAD ISLAND

Hilton Head Island's beach is crucial to both residents and the local economy. To preserve this valuable resource, the Town has planned a beach restoration project for Summer 2025, funded primarily by tourism through the local Beach Preservation Fee.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
  • The 2025 beach renourishment is expected to be similar to the previous projects in 1990, 1997, 2006 and 2016.
  • The proposed project will include the placement of approximately 2.2 million cubic yards of beach compatible sand from up to four offshore borrow areas along about 46,500 ft of Atlantic Ocean and Port Royal Sound shoreline.
  • This project is part of the Town's ongoing beach management program, with renourishment scheduled every 8 to 10 years, depending on weather and beach conditions.
  • Pine Island in Hilton Head Plantation will be included in the 2025 restoration.
SAND PLACEMENT

The proposed project will include sand placement along five areas of the island shoreline:

  1. South Beach / South Island - Approximately 750,000 cubic yards of sand along approximately 10,230 feet of the southern Atlantic Ocean shoreline.
  2. Central Island - Approximately 700,000 cubic yards along 28,860 feet of Atlantic Ocean shoreline.
  3. The Heel - Approximately 500,000 cubic yards of sand along 5,280 feet at the northeast point of the island at the intersection of the Atlantic Ocean and Port Royal Sound shoreline.
  4. Fish Haul Creek - Approximately 50,000 cubic yards of sand along about 2,130 feet of Port Royal Sound shoreline.
  5. Pine Island - Approximately 180,000 cubic yards of beach compatible sand and construction of six rock breakwaters on the Port Royal Sound shoreline of Hilton Head Plantation between Dolphin Head and Pine Island.
CONSTRUCTION PROCESS

The nourishment sand will be excavated by hydraulic dredge from two offshore shoal features.

  • Up to 50,000 feet of pipeline will be trucked or floated to the island by way of large rafts, then moved onto the beach.
  • The pipeline will be piled in stacks along the shoreline until needed during construction.
  • During construction, many miles of pipeline will be submerged on the ocean floor between the offshore borrow sites and the beach.
  • The rest of the pipeline will be laid progressively along the newly constructed beach as the fill sand is pumped on shore.

The dredge will pump a mixture of sand and seawater through the pipeline, and will discharge it onto the beach.

  • There, it will flow parallel to the shoreline - allowing the sand to settle out and the water to return to the sea.
  • Bulldozers and other heavy construction machinery will constantly shape the sand to meet the design specifications.

Project construction is expected to last approximately six months, operating around the clock.

  • On average, the process should move along the shoreline at a rate of about 200 to 300 feet per day.
  • As the fill placement progresses, approximately 1,000 foot sections of the beach are closed temporarily to pedestrian access.
  • Several days of work activity will occur seaward of any one piece of oceanfront property in the 1,000 foot active work area along the beach.
  • Once placed and rough-graded, the new beach is immediately reopened to the public.
IMPACTS ON RESIDENTS AND VISITORS
  • Construction noise will primarily involve bulldozers shaping the sand as it is deposited.
  • Disruptions at individual properties generally last about three or four days as the renourishment operation progresses.
  • Adjacent property owners, or renters, may experience short-term minor inconveniences.
