Best place in HH
My family and I have stayed on the island many times. This was by far our best stay! The house was fantastic! Every day we spent mornings at the beach and evenings by the pool. Huge kitchen to be able to cook for everyone and a gorgeous dinning room table that fit us all. Check in was quick and easy and the house was super clean. We are going to come back next spring and there's nowhere else we would rather stay!

Wow, everything we hoped for.
Our large family absolutely loved our time here. The property feels very private, secluded compared to others we’ve had on Hilton Head. It’s clear the owners have put a lot of thought and effort into how the house and pool area feel, it’s very easy to feel at home. The transition from living area, through the sunroom and seating area into the pool area is so beautiful, easy, and great for entertaining. We especially loved the mornings spent together in the screened in porch, an ideal way to meet a new day. And after a day in the sun, we all loved to relax in the screened porch and open concept living area. We can’t wait to go back, this place is perfect, five stars isn’t enough. We’ve already booked for next year.

Perfect for a family getaway
We loved this house. Its nicely secluded from neighbors being the last house on the street. The pool, deck with the indoor/outdoor sunroom makes entertaining really unique and easy. The screened porch is great in the morning for coffee and in the afternoon to get out of the sun and enjoy the breeze. Five stars isn’t enough. We already booked for next year.

The house was great the owner was not!
The house met our expectations. There was a large living area on the main floor to accommodate our group and the bunk bed room was great for kids. We all enjoyed the screened-in porch and the open area to the deck. The swimming pool was large enough to fit all 10 of us. The lot is very quiet and private. The Vacation Company was very accommodating with regard to a few small issues and their effort to fix a major issue. However, when we arrived we discovered that the oven and stove did not work. We were provided with a small hot plate and a small conversion oven. There were 10 of us and this was definitely inadequate when cooking for all of us. There was a barbeque so we bought a cast iron griddle to assist us. Cooking a meal was, needless to say, a slow process. The Vacation Company did their best to try to fix this but the owner was not cooperative. They were difficult to get in touch with and didn't seem to have any urgency in rectifying the issue. The stove/oven was a model that could not be serviced by local businesses although they tried. Special parts had to be ordered and it took a long time to get any apparently needed new parts. When the parts ordered were ordered they were not all that was needed. The owner was asked to provide compensation for our inconvenience and their was response was inadequate and disappointing. We had to go out for more meals than anticipated, purchase something to try to make the situation work for us, deal with various and numerous repair people and deal with many phone calls during our 12 days of rental. This was all very intrusive during our stay. In addition the amount credited was completed without us having agreed to it. My advice would be to be wary of renting this house given the uncooperative owner.

Great home!
I would say that we had one of the best stays at this house! We felt welcomed! The house itself has enough room for accommodation for 5 adults and 3 kids, very clean and we had everything we needed. Even more - we had 4 bikes included in our rental and definitely we enjoyed to have our own pool. Very nice neighborhood - close to everything! We would love to come back!

Enjoy a backyard oasis!
Our stay was wonderful! The property is very well maintained and super clean. The bedrooms and bathroom suites were awesome to give everyone their own retreat and privacy. The backyard and patios were where we spent 90% of our time. Very private with no view of the neighbors, only the occasional golf cart passing by. We will be back for our next HH vacation!

Amazing Property with Private Backyard

Very good experience with staying at this rental property!

2025 Beach Renourishment Project 2025 Beach Renourishment Project

THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS provided by the TOWN OF HILTON HEAD ISLAND

Hilton Head Island's beach is crucial to both residents and the local economy. To preserve this valuable resource, the Town has planned a beach restoration project for Summer 2025, funded primarily by tourism through the local Beach Preservation Fee.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
  • The 2025 beach renourishment is expected to be similar to the previous projects in 1990, 1997, 2006 and 2016.
  • The proposed project will include the placement of approximately 2.2 million cubic yards of beach compatible sand from up to four offshore borrow areas along about 46,500 ft of Atlantic Ocean and Port Royal Sound shoreline.
  • This project is part of the Town's ongoing beach management program, with renourishment scheduled every 8 to 10 years, depending on weather and beach conditions.
  • Pine Island in Hilton Head Plantation will be included in the 2025 restoration.
SAND PLACEMENT

The proposed project will include sand placement along five areas of the island shoreline:

  1. South Beach / South Island - Approximately 750,000 cubic yards of sand along approximately 10,230 feet of the southern Atlantic Ocean shoreline.
  2. Central Island - Approximately 700,000 cubic yards along 28,860 feet of Atlantic Ocean shoreline.
  3. The Heel - Approximately 500,000 cubic yards of sand along 5,280 feet at the northeast point of the island at the intersection of the Atlantic Ocean and Port Royal Sound shoreline.
  4. Fish Haul Creek - Approximately 50,000 cubic yards of sand along about 2,130 feet of Port Royal Sound shoreline.
  5. Pine Island - Approximately 180,000 cubic yards of beach compatible sand and construction of six rock breakwaters on the Port Royal Sound shoreline of Hilton Head Plantation between Dolphin Head and Pine Island.
CONSTRUCTION PROCESS

The nourishment sand will be excavated by hydraulic dredge from two offshore shoal features.

  • Up to 50,000 feet of pipeline will be trucked or floated to the island by way of large rafts, then moved onto the beach.
  • The pipeline will be piled in stacks along the shoreline until needed during construction.
  • During construction, many miles of pipeline will be submerged on the ocean floor between the offshore borrow sites and the beach.
  • The rest of the pipeline will be laid progressively along the newly constructed beach as the fill sand is pumped on shore.

The dredge will pump a mixture of sand and seawater through the pipeline, and will discharge it onto the beach.

  • There, it will flow parallel to the shoreline - allowing the sand to settle out and the water to return to the sea.
  • Bulldozers and other heavy construction machinery will constantly shape the sand to meet the design specifications.

Project construction is expected to last approximately six months, operating around the clock.

  • On average, the process should move along the shoreline at a rate of about 200 to 300 feet per day.
  • As the fill placement progresses, approximately 1,000 foot sections of the beach are closed temporarily to pedestrian access.
  • Several days of work activity will occur seaward of any one piece of oceanfront property in the 1,000 foot active work area along the beach.
  • Once placed and rough-graded, the new beach is immediately reopened to the public.
IMPACTS ON RESIDENTS AND VISITORS
  • Construction noise will primarily involve bulldozers shaping the sand as it is deposited.
  • Disruptions at individual properties generally last about three or four days as the renourishment operation progresses.
  • Adjacent property owners, or renters, may experience short-term minor inconveniences.
