Wonderful stay!
We can’t say enough great things about 78 Dune Ln. Literally one minute walk to the beach, bikes, wagon, boogie board and chairs on property. We had some additional games sent to the house upon arrival. The backyard is fantastic and we loved the putting green. Also, kitchen was appointed with everything you need.Five minute bike ride down to Coligny so it was super convenient. I highly recommend this spot!

We had the best time at this property. The set up was perfect for multiple couples/groups of people and a minute walk to the beach. The street is beautiful. Overall a really great property!

Great place to stay! The property was cleaned and well stocked. Unfortunately, the weather during our stay was terrible - cold and rainy. But the heated pool was a life saver and the close proximity to the beach let us dart down for a short window when it wasn’t raining, something we wouldn’t been able to do had we not been staying close. The TVs were all smart TVs and the area under the house was perfect for the parents to sit and watch TV while the kids played. The property manager was extremely responsive and helpful. Even with the bad weather, this property helped us have a good time and enjoy our stay!Side note - would also be a great property for a guys golf trip! We will definitely be back.

Another great stay at 78 Dune Lane. This is our 3rd time staying here and love the house and the location. The house has everything you need with the pool, hot tub, putting greens and they even added a firepit this year. There is also plenty of beach gear with a 2 minute walk to the water.

Relaxing stay
Great neighborhood to walk, ride bikes, and we felt safe. The beach was a short walk. Had a little trouble getting down from the sand dunes because there was no walkway with steps, just sand stacked up. The house was just as described. We had 4 adults, one 4 year old, one 6 month old, and one smalll dog. Loved the place. Like to come back.

Great Stay
We had a great family vacation. Our second time staying at 78 Dune Lane. The house has everything you could possibly need for a beach vacation and only a 2 minute walk to the beach. The pool, hot tub, and putting green were a big hit with the kids. Will definitely stay again.

Renourishment Project 

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. 

As of June 10, pumping of sand (an estimated total of 755,000 cubic yards) onto South Beach is complete. Their contractor, Marinex Construction, Inc., will now begin the demobilization process.

During demobilization, Marinex will remove offshore pipe, level vehicle tracks along the beach, and level out any significant areas of scarping (steep or uneven areas) along the renourished areas from Beach Marker 8 to Beach Marker 27. Below is the timeline (weather permitting):

All beach access locations will reopen by Saturday, June 13

Metal and HDPE pipe will be staged between Beach Markers 9 and 10 by Monday, June 14

Tilling of South Beach will begin on Tuesday, June 16 (estimated 1-2 days to complete)

All contractor equipment should be gone by the end of June
