As one of our premier estates in our signature Lowcountry Manor Collection, this magnificent oceanfront home has unobstructed views of our beautiful Hilton Head beaches. This seaside paradise is perched on the dunes in North Forest Beach. The home features 7 bedrooms, 7.5 baths, multiple living areas, ocean view balconies with every bedroom, a wrap-around terrace, a private beach path, and a private pool and spa. The open floorplan boasts a gourmet kitchen and a beautifully appointed dining room, with two living areas and dramatic ocean vistas through the two-story wall of windows.

The bedrooms on the main level include an oceanfront master en-suite with a balcony, a king en-suite with a balcony, and a queen en-suite with a balcony, all designed with comfort and luxury in mind. The upper floor features a second kitchen with a lovely sitting and game area overlooking the lower floor with the same fantastic ocean view! Two stunning oceanfront master en-suites, a bunk room, and a double queen en-suite are also on this floor. Perfect Getaway
If I could rate this 6 stars I would. I rented this house for my family to all meet here for Thanksgiving, and I'm so glad that I did. The house was perfect! We had a few VERY MINOR issues, but Vacation Company was prompt with sending someone out to help with that. Everyone I spoke to was so pleasant! The views of the beach, sunrise and sunset are just spectacular. Multiple times throughout my stay I verbally muttered to myself "This is a house I'll miss". I don't know what else I can say beyond that. I will be back.

Great location!
The house was great for a large family of seniors, adults, teens and small kids. Lots of common area spaces to spread out. The only issue we had was the bedroom off the tv room/kitchen was very hot. There were a couple of mini portable a/c on the night stand but it was still warm. The rest of the house was great. Best location on the island with easy access to beach and 5-10 min walk or bike ride into town. Would love to return sometime!

Location location location
We planned on eating out and doing some activities, but nobody wanted to leave this house. The views are spectacular and the beach not crowded probably because there's no condos or hotels nearby or public access. The bedrooms are all designed so there's at least an ocean view from private balconies and they all have their own bathroom. Also lots of couches for extra sleeping for the kiddos. Kitchen well stocked and everything so clean. Instead of paying for condos we had 4 families split the cost which made it reasonable and a million times better than staying in a condo.

Loved it so much, we came back
We've stayed at this house 2 years in a row and have it booked again for 2023. You can't beat its location on North Forest. We've stayed in Hilton Head probably 20 times, and North Forest beats Sea Pines and the other plantations hands down. You can't come closer to the ocean than this house and the view is phenomenal. Every night we all sat out on the balcony and enjoyed the sound of the ocean. The kitchen is well stocked and the appliances are top-end. The beds are comfortable and the house is not only beautiful but clean. The rooms are laid out well and each had its own balcony. and bathroom, so great for multiple families. Loved the new wood floors in all the rooms, just feels cleaner than carpet. And we appreciated they left a sweeper so we could quickly clean up any sand the kids tracked in. The only downfall is the week we wanted was booked so we had to go with our second-choice week. We learned our lesson and will book asap for 2024.

Absolutely amazing vacation
This house is spectacular. The location and property exceeded our expectations. My parents originally worried we adult kids would argue over the bedrooms, but it turns out this house has 7 phenomenal bedrooms. All are either oceanfront or amazing ocean view. All with private baths and balconies. The kitchen has an oven I'd love to have in my own home and 2 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers. The house has 2 washers and dryers as well. Absolutely perfect!

The best on the beach
Second stay at this fabulous oceanfront home… you won't find a better place to be one with the sky, sand and ocean. Views are incredible, Coligny within easy walking distance, management very professional, competent and quick to please. Looking forward to coming back again as all twenty adults and grandkids, ages 5-78, unanimously agree that it is the best.

We'll be back for sure!
Beautiful home in the perfect place - North Forest Beach. Bringing together our college buddies with families in tow, it proved a big enough home for everyone and every age group from boomers to three year olds. Loved the idea of reserving the gear online - and having 4 bikes when we arrived. We've stayed here before, and hint: there is always a chest full of sand toys in the garage for the kids! We did experience a hiccup with the plumbing - but the managers were very helpful and responsive in getting things fixed as quickly as possible. These things happen! We spent every single evening on the spectacular porch sitting in the rocking chairs, enjoying the beautifully cool breezes off the ocean and dreaming of our next trip back. Can't wait! This home is just perfect.

Did NOT want to leave!
57 Dune is the perfect location to be within walking distance to Coligny but far enough away so the beach isn't crowded. We loved how close this house is to the water and the unobstructed views from so many rooms as well as multiple balconies. Everyone was happy with their rooms but we all spent most of our time outside! The massive balcony with all the rocking chairs was a perfect place to gather and the kids loved the ping pong table and basketball goal. We had a fabulous week and have already booked this house for 2021!

Love HHI
You can not beat HHI for a family vacation and this house was perfect for our extended family vacation. We had a set of grandparents, 5 additional married couples and 10 kids. All the adults were happy with their accommodations (3 bedrooms are actual oceanfront, 2 have what I would call oceanfront balconies, and 2 have balconies with good ocean views). The private balconies are nice for when you want to get away from the rest of the family for a bit. 3 bedrooms are master suites and a 4th pretty close to that. The family with older kids took the room with 2 queen beds and the other 8 kids slept in the bunk room. There's a set of twin bunks and then a set of queen bunks. 3 kids slept in each queen. There's also lots of couches we'd planned on some kids sleeping on but they all wanted to be in the bunk room together. The kitchen has a Dacor gas oven which took a bit getting used to but we really appreciated the 2 refrigerators & 2 dishwashers. There's another small kitchen upstairs that was convenient. There are lots of TVs that my ex-military dad kept going around turning off and telling people to get outside. The pool is nice but on the small side. That seems to be what you find in HHI. The ping pong table and basketball goal got plenty of use as did the bikes. We all had bikes and we hit the beach or bike paths daily. Almost every evening we rode down to Coligny for ice cream. Another plus on this house is it's clean. You don't always get that. We did see one of the unavoidable palmetto bugs but we called and they sent out the exterminator and he sprayed that day while we all hung out out the pool. We went to 4 stars on "experience"" because of the bug and the hard to use oven (give me a cheap electric oven?). But we've already re-booked this house for next year."

Incredible home
This is just an incredible home. We loved the decor, location, layout, amenities and cleanliness! From the upstairs balcony you can look out over the ocean and it reminded me of the window tables on cruise ships where you feel like you are right on the water. This house is far enough away from Coligny that the beach is not so crowded but close enough to Coligny to walk or bike down for lunch. And our kids loved the ping pong and basketball goal. But for me, this house is all about the ocean and the amazing views.

Gorgeous home, 3 true master bedrooms, perfect location
We've been coming to HHI for years and this is the best house yet. It is as close to the ocean as you can get with a walkway over the dune. The kitchen is well stocked and even has a high-end Dacor 6-burner range. All the bedrooms have balconies with views, multiple are ocean front. The house is close enough to Coligny to walk or bike, but far enough away so the beach isn't crowded. 6 kids slept in the bunk room (and loved it!) and 4 others crashed on the couches (not sleeper sofas but long enough for 9 year olds). There are 3 oceanfront bedrooms with kings so truly all 3 are master bedrooms and all the bedrooms have their own bathrooms plus there's a half bath. There's also a nice outdoor "shower"" (not enclosed) with hot & cold water by the pool. We had some rain but everyone gathered by the pool under the overhang while kids kept swimming or played ping pong in the car port area."

Start date for Hilton Head Island Beach Renourishment
Project-Phase 1 shifts to mid-August

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (January 14, 2026) Marinex Construction will begin mobilizing at Fish Haul Beach Park as part of the Town of Hilton Head Island’s beach renourishment project in mid-August. Marinex updated the new start date due to adverse weather and marine conditions affecting the transfer of materials and equipment from a site off the Florida Atlantic coast.

Originally, Marinex was scheduled to start construction at Fish Haul Beach Park off Mitchelville Road on Aug. 6. Instead, mobilization is now scheduled to take place from about Aug. 13 to Sept. 1. Active beach renourishment construction is anticipated to start during the week of Sept. 2 and be completed by the week of Sept. 15 at Fish Haul. It is anticipated that Fish Haul Beach will be closed to the public for approximately five days in early September when the beach fill begins.

This is a 24/7 project.

Despite this temporary delay, survey and pre-construction activities are ongoing, and the project team remains on track to complete the renourishment work in accordance with the contract schedule windows. "As with any project of this magnitude, we anticipate that changes may arise due to various factors. We encourage the public to stay connected with us through social media and our website for any updates regarding the beach renourishment project," said Jeff Netzinger, Director of Engineering and Public Projects for the Town.

The beach renourishment project will occur in three phases, with an anticipated completion date of May 2026. The new anticipated schedule is as follows:

“It’s a priority to preserve, protect and cherish our beaches – one of our greatest assets. Our Island depends on their ongoing vitality. The Town’s role is to carry out the community’s collective dedication to this environmental core value through our investment in restoration and maintenance,” said Mayor Alan Perry. “And fortunately, due to the foresight of Town leaders before us and thanks to our millions of visitors, this project is funded through our beach preservation fund and capital improvement program.”


Beach renourishment is a moving work zone that typically progresses at about 1,000 feet per section-just 2% of the Island’s total beach area. On average, only 300 feet of beach will be impacted per day. Temporary beach access ramps and clear signage will help direct beachgoers safely around active work areas to open areas of the beach. As soon as an active site is completed, the equipment will move down the beach and the newly renourished section will open.

Special protection has been made for wildlife that may be impacted because of the project. All work will be supervised by consultant teams under contract to monitor sea turtles and migratory shorebirds. Additionally, per a requirement of the beach renourishment permit from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), the Town amended its municipal code to restrict animal/dog activity in an area adjacent to Fish Haul Creek beach park. This requirement protects endangered shorebird species that migrate and nest there. Signage is posted and no other beach areas will be affected. Dogs are still allowed per the Town’s seasonal rules – only a small section of the creek area adjacent to the beach park is restricted.

Marinex Construction, Inc., the contractor for the project, began mobilizing equipment this month in preparation for the work. This includes positioning their offshore barges and staging miles of steel pipes to pump sand from ocean shoals back to beaches. Crews will be working around the clock daily.

The beach renourishment process helps to:

  • Preserve a healthy shoreline ecosystem for wildlife such as sea turtles and shorebirds.
  • Protect beachfront properties and infrastructure from storms.
  • Provide wider, more enjoyable beaches for residents and visitors alike.
