Perfect rental for our vacation
Five adults (ages 53, 59, 60, 80, and 80) stayed here. We were thrilled with the cleanliness, location, views, and personal touches. 1. If you hope to prepare a few meals, this unit will win your heart. Top of the line appliances, coffee maker and Keurig, pots, pans, casserole dishes, great cooking utensils, and tons of plates and glasses. Our only problem was not finding a cutting board but some heavy duty paper sacks served the purpose. 2. Great quality in the towels, bedding, and mattresses. We thankfully even had little toiletry items (at least in the master suite) since we managed to forget shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and soap! 3. Property management was friendly and fantastic. Recommendations on restaurants as we were unloading luggage and waiting for the elevator. Friendly and patient with outstanding questions when I called (more than once!) Smoke alarm battery was dying on Day 2; it was quickly replaced. The television in one bedroom was not working; resolved after a couple of trips. And when I had to take care of some papers for work but couldn't find operable network or facilities needed at Staples, UPS, or FedEx, they let me come to their office for a quick assist. Top notch folks. If we come with a larger group again, we won't hesitate to book this unit. It's simply lovely. We enjoyed every moment and were thankful for the opportunity to stay here.

Impeccable!

Great Panoramic Views!!!

Perfection at the beach!
Fantastic 3 bedroom 3bath condo. Beautifully decorated. Gorgeous views. Location within the building could not be any better. The kitchen is perfectly equipped to stay in and prepare any type meal. Bonus…directly across the street from multiple restaurants, shops and a grocery store! This condo is an A+!

Great place!
Love Seacrest! Have stayed there for years in various condos. Love the property and convenience to shopping/dining, bike trails,beach,etc. Never have to leave! Jim's Beach bar has great food and drinks and is right on the property! Seacrest Never disappoints!

Fabulous property with beautiful views
We are frequent visitors to Hilton Head. We love the location of the SeaCrest property. We have stayed in this unit twice. It is our favorite unit. The space worked well when we have family with us or just two of us. It is very clean, updated and fully stocked with everything we need for a relaxing week on the beach.

The best view
This is probably the best condo in this building. We have stayed in many Hilton head condos and this is the one we will return to year after year from now on. It is perfect for couples. Three very spacious rooms each with a bathroom and closet. Kitchen was well stocked and Wi-Fi worked great. Ice Machine was a little slow to produce ice but we survived. The only thing I would recommend is turning the furniture to look at the ocean. Otherwise, absolutely perfect location and the cleaning people did a fantastic job!!!

PERFECT...
We were just so content in this beautiful ocean view condo. There was nothing we lacked for...well stocked and then some. The weather was sunny and in the 80's daily. Our four teenage girls LOVED the independence of being able to cross the street to Coligny Plaza. A perfect place to spend with family!

Outstanding Location
It was like we never left our own home. Everything was excellent and that is why we keep coming back to this condo. So close to everything we need without driving. The view of the beach from all angles and closeness to pool and beach is "priceless."

Beautiful Waterfront Condo
Direct oceanfront unit on the top floor. The views are stunning. The unit is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Sea Crest has a small gym. The beach is perfect for walking, running and bike riding. Sea Crest is conveniently located to restaurants and shops.

2025 Beach Renourishment Project 2025 Beach Renourishment Project

THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS provided by the TOWN OF HILTON HEAD ISLAND

Hilton Head Island's beach is crucial to both residents and the local economy. To preserve this valuable resource, the Town has planned a beach restoration project for Summer 2025, funded primarily by tourism through the local Beach Preservation Fee.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
  • The 2025 beach renourishment is expected to be similar to the previous projects in 1990, 1997, 2006 and 2016.
  • The proposed project will include the placement of approximately 2.2 million cubic yards of beach compatible sand from up to four offshore borrow areas along about 46,500 ft of Atlantic Ocean and Port Royal Sound shoreline.
  • This project is part of the Town's ongoing beach management program, with renourishment scheduled every 8 to 10 years, depending on weather and beach conditions.
  • Pine Island in Hilton Head Plantation will be included in the 2025 restoration.
SAND PLACEMENT

The proposed project will include sand placement along five areas of the island shoreline:

  1. South Beach / South Island - Approximately 750,000 cubic yards of sand along approximately 10,230 feet of the southern Atlantic Ocean shoreline.
  2. Central Island - Approximately 700,000 cubic yards along 28,860 feet of Atlantic Ocean shoreline.
  3. The Heel - Approximately 500,000 cubic yards of sand along 5,280 feet at the northeast point of the island at the intersection of the Atlantic Ocean and Port Royal Sound shoreline.
  4. Fish Haul Creek - Approximately 50,000 cubic yards of sand along about 2,130 feet of Port Royal Sound shoreline.
  5. Pine Island - Approximately 180,000 cubic yards of beach compatible sand and construction of six rock breakwaters on the Port Royal Sound shoreline of Hilton Head Plantation between Dolphin Head and Pine Island.
CONSTRUCTION PROCESS

The nourishment sand will be excavated by hydraulic dredge from two offshore shoal features.

  • Up to 50,000 feet of pipeline will be trucked or floated to the island by way of large rafts, then moved onto the beach.
  • The pipeline will be piled in stacks along the shoreline until needed during construction.
  • During construction, many miles of pipeline will be submerged on the ocean floor between the offshore borrow sites and the beach.
  • The rest of the pipeline will be laid progressively along the newly constructed beach as the fill sand is pumped on shore.

The dredge will pump a mixture of sand and seawater through the pipeline, and will discharge it onto the beach.

  • There, it will flow parallel to the shoreline - allowing the sand to settle out and the water to return to the sea.
  • Bulldozers and other heavy construction machinery will constantly shape the sand to meet the design specifications.

Project construction is expected to last approximately six months, operating around the clock.

  • On average, the process should move along the shoreline at a rate of about 200 to 300 feet per day.
  • As the fill placement progresses, approximately 1,000 foot sections of the beach are closed temporarily to pedestrian access.
  • Several days of work activity will occur seaward of any one piece of oceanfront property in the 1,000 foot active work area along the beach.
  • Once placed and rough-graded, the new beach is immediately reopened to the public.
IMPACTS ON RESIDENTS AND VISITORS
  • Construction noise will primarily involve bulldozers shaping the sand as it is deposited.
  • Disruptions at individual properties generally last about three or four days as the renourishment operation progresses.
  • Adjacent property owners, or renters, may experience short-term minor inconveniences.
