The fully stocked kitchen features beautiful granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, both a Keurig and drip coffee maker, and breakfast counter with seating for 3. The kitchen opens to the dining table with seating for 8. The dining room flows to the spacious living area with comfortable sleeper sofa and love seat, 55" TV and sliding door access to the balcony. The balcony includes a table with seating for 6+-a perfect place to eat breakfast or dinner while watching the sun glimmer over the Atlantic.

The oceanfront master bedroom includes a King bed, TV, and private en suite with walk in shower. Guest bedroom 2 offers a king bed with private en suite with walk in shower and TV. Guest bedroom 3 features a twin over full bunk bed with additional twin trundle bed and TV.

Another Wonderful Stay at Shorewood!
We had a wonderful experience staying at Shorewood 306 this year! Getting out of the Midwest winters has led us to Shorewood the last five years and we couldn’t be happier! Working with The Vacation Company is so easy, their staff is so nice and helpful! The communication from the VC is always good too throughout our entire rental process. The location of Shorewood is fabulous! It’s on the beach, walkable to so many restaurants and shops. We just loved our time there. We’ll be back as now it’s a family tradition!

Amazing!!
This was our third time staying here and it was amazing as always! We love this condo- the natural light, ocean views, cleanliness, and convenience are all great perks. Having two small kids and being steps away from the beach (with a balcony with ocean view to have happy hour while the kids nap), a nice pool right downstairs, walkable to grocery stores, great restaurants, and the tiki hut. What more could you ask for?! 10/10 recommend.

Great Vacation

Having little one with us, it was so easy to put them in a stroller and be just steps away from shops and restaurants. The bedroom layout of the Villa is great as it provides privacy. Another great HHI vacation in the books.
After 34 yrs of coming to HHI, once again Shorewood did not disappoint. 306 was a great condo, stocked with common household items, clean, updated, bunk beds were a hit w/the kids. View from the porch was outstanding as usual. Ice maker didn't work, but getting bagged ice was no problem. We would definitely stay in this unit again. Open concept and very comfortable living spaces. Another great HHI vacation in the books.

Great Stay
Rental car prices are through the roof and hard to come by for what we needed. This place was walking distance to everything we needed. Clean and comfortable. Kids had a blast and loved everything. How did we get around? Rent a bike, plan trip out in advanced so you can schedule a taxi and relax. Great stay!!

We really enjoyed our two week stay at Shorewood 306. This is our 6th stay at Shorewood but our first at 306 and first working with Goode Vacation Rentals (note Kristen is fabulous). The condo has everything you need for a great stay. We felt at home & cozy and not like we were in a sterile rental with no extra touches. Plenty of room, beautiful balcony and privacy. There was some construction on the complex but Kristen keep us informed. The complex is clean and kept up to date. We love the Forest Beach area. We would definitely recommend this condo and look forward to planning another trip soon. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Perfect week at the beach
We had a great week staying at this condo! The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, the bathrooms were also big and clean. Loved the ocean views and the beach being just a few steps away. We spent many days at the pool which was super relaxing! We had 4 people and definitely could have had more if we needed to. The condo is perfectly decorated for the beach and was a great place to come home to after biking around all day to the many restaurants and bars close by! Loved this place!
I visited HHI with my boyfriend for a week, and we had the pleasure of staying at the Shorewood! From the moment I walked into the unit, I was blown away! The unit was extremely clean, beautifully decorated, spacious, and criminally close to the beach. We were a short bike ride from Coligny Plaza and ventured there every day for delicious food and drinks. The week we were there happened to be the rainiest and coldest HHI had seen in a while (according to the friendly locals) and we spent the majority of our time relaxing in the unit. With the comfortable furniture, beautiful views, and dreamy kitchen, it wasn`t hard to enjoy our time indoors! The unit is in the perfect location--steps away from the beach and a reasonable bike ride away from a ton of places. Our favorites were the Frosty Frog, Skillets, Sea Shack, Salty Dog, and Catch-22. A slice of Heaven in Hilton Head...Beautiful Condo/Highly recommended
Stayed at this beautifully well-appointed condo recently in November, which is fully equipped with all the essentials and much more. Great layout for families with lots of space especially loved that there were 3 full sized bathrooms (one with a bathtub) and that the kid's room had full sized beds. Extremely, easy accessibility to the entrance into the unit with a keypad lock located on the front door instead of trying to find a lockbox. Beautiful views from the large deck made for some great relaxation just watching the surf roll by. Was pleasantly surprised at the beautiful weather in the off-season and that the pool was fully heated. My family and friends have been coming to Hilton Head Island for years and stayed at quite a number of hotels this was a welcomed change to stay in a Condo you felt like you were in your own home only better! Start date for Hilton Head Island Beach Renourishment
Project-Phase 1 shifts to mid-August

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (January 14, 2026) Marinex Construction will begin mobilizing at Fish Haul Beach Park as part of the Town of Hilton Head Island’s beach renourishment project in mid-August. Marinex updated the new start date due to adverse weather and marine conditions affecting the transfer of materials and equipment from a site off the Florida Atlantic coast.

Originally, Marinex was scheduled to start construction at Fish Haul Beach Park off Mitchelville Road on Aug. 6. Instead, mobilization is now scheduled to take place from about Aug. 13 to Sept. 1. Active beach renourishment construction is anticipated to start during the week of Sept. 2 and be completed by the week of Sept. 15 at Fish Haul. It is anticipated that Fish Haul Beach will be closed to the public for approximately five days in early September when the beach fill begins.

This is a 24/7 project.

Despite this temporary delay, survey and pre-construction activities are ongoing, and the project team remains on track to complete the renourishment work in accordance with the contract schedule windows. "As with any project of this magnitude, we anticipate that changes may arise due to various factors. We encourage the public to stay connected with us through social media and our website for any updates regarding the beach renourishment project," said Jeff Netzinger, Director of Engineering and Public Projects for the Town.

The beach renourishment project will occur in three phases, with an anticipated completion date of May 2026. The new anticipated schedule is as follows:

  • Phase 1 - Port Royal (the Heel), Fish Haul and Pine Island
    • Complete - Contractor mobilizes in August 2025.
    • Complete - Weeks of August 13, 2025 thru September 17, 2025 - Fish Haul area
    • Complete - Weeks of September 18, 2025 thru October 10, 2025 - Pine Island
    • Complete - Weeks of October 11, 2025 thru October 17, 2025 - Port Royal (The Heel)
  • Phase 2 - Central Island, South Island and South Beach
    • Weeks of December 11, 2025 thru March 28, 2026 - Central Island, including beach areas along Palmetto Dunes
    • Weeks of March 28, 2026 thru May 31, 2026 - South Island and South Beach areas .
  • Phase 3 - Pine Island Breakwater Structures
    • Weeks of November 1, 2025 thru April 30, 2026

“It’s a priority to preserve, protect and cherish our beaches – one of our greatest assets. Our Island depends on their ongoing vitality. The Town’s role is to carry out the community’s collective dedication to this environmental core value through our investment in restoration and maintenance,” said Mayor Alan Perry. “And fortunately, due to the foresight of Town leaders before us and thanks to our millions of visitors, this project is funded through our beach preservation fund and capital improvement program.”


Beach renourishment is a moving work zone that typically progresses at about 1,000 feet per section-just 2% of the Island’s total beach area. On average, only 300 feet of beach will be impacted per day. Temporary beach access ramps and clear signage will help direct beachgoers safely around active work areas to open areas of the beach. As soon as an active site is completed, the equipment will move down the beach and the newly renourished section will open.

Special protection has been made for wildlife that may be impacted because of the project. All work will be supervised by consultant teams under contract to monitor sea turtles and migratory shorebirds. Additionally, per a requirement of the beach renourishment permit from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), the Town amended its municipal code to restrict animal/dog activity in an area adjacent to Fish Haul Creek beach park. This requirement protects endangered shorebird species that migrate and nest there. Signage is posted and no other beach areas will be affected. Dogs are still allowed per the Town’s seasonal rules – only a small section of the creek area adjacent to the beach park is restricted.

Marinex Construction, Inc., the contractor for the project, began mobilizing equipment this month in preparation for the work. This includes positioning their offshore barges and staging miles of steel pipes to pump sand from ocean shoals back to beaches. Crews will be working around the clock daily.

The beach renourishment process helps to:

  • Preserve a healthy shoreline ecosystem for wildlife such as sea turtles and shorebirds.
  • Protect beachfront properties and infrastructure from storms.
  • Provide wider, more enjoyable beaches for residents and visitors alike.
