Shelter Cove is Hilton Head’s largest deep-water yacht basin. Built in 1983, the marina became immediately famous for its water sports, and soon after, Harbourfest; select nights of seasonal live nightly entertainment by Shannon Tanner, and summer fireworks displays. Shelter Cove Marina is also renowned for its tony boutiques, al fresco dining, and for the world’s largest sundial, bronze sculpture of King Neptune holding his trident.
Centrally located on the island, Harbourside Villas in Shelter Cove offer stellar marina sunset views, and are convenient to all the Palmetto Dunes amenities and activities, such as golf, tennis, swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, and biking. A free shuttle service runs seasonally to Palmetto Dunes beaches and hotels.
