FOREST BEACH
Miles of beautiful shoreline, miniature golf and amusements, shopping, dining, seasonal live entertainment, and churches are all within easy walking distance of most Forest Beach vacation rentals. Spanning the beachfront from Shipyard to Sea Pines, Forest Beach is the site of Hilton Head Island’s early history. Shopping centers, inns, restaurants, homes, and villas all have been added or modernized; but the charm of a bygone era remains in this lovely ungated beach community.

Among its special features are convenient accesses to quiet beaches, three challenging golf courses, a world-class tennis facility, and an 11-mile lagoon system for fishing and boating.
Sea Pines Ocean Course
SEA PINES
Located at the southern end of Hilton Head Island, Sea Pines is the island’s largest and oldest resort. Sea Pines is skirted by five miles of wide sandy beaches and intersected by salt marshes and winding fresh water lagoons. Four golf courses, countless swimming pools, the Sea Pines Forest Preserve, and Lawton Stables are just a few of the featured attractions all within the gates.
Sea Pines is home to the world-renowned Harbour Town Yacht Basin, with its famous candy-striped lighthouse. The Harbour Town Links and Sea Pines Racquet Club are located nearby, where televised golf and tennis tournaments have taken place annually through the years. World champions grace the greens and courts year after year, giving Sea Pines a sports legacy like few other resorts share.
Also in Sea Pines, and at the southernmost tip of the Island lies South Beach with its own marina, racquet clubs, shops, and restaurants all in a quaint fishing village setting. All of the Sea Pines attractions can be reached by car or by miles and miles of paved, serene bike paths.
SHIPYARD
Shipyard is a sports enthusiasts dream come true, nestled midway between Sea Pines and Palmetto Dunes. The homes and villas are built around a challenging 27-hole golf course and within a very short distance of the world-class Dennis Van Der Meer Tennis Center. The beach, and the Crown Plaza Resort Hotel are easily accessible from all points and paved bike trails make it easy to enjoy several activities in a single day. Outside the gates, Shipyard guests have less than a 10-minute car ride to almost all of Hilton Head’s recreational facilities, restaurants, and shopping centers.
