Overall the experience was good. There were a couple of issues up on arrival such as the patio door not working properly, the pool was not very clean and the propane tank for the gas grill was almost empty. We called and these were all taken care of within a day or 2. We had to call twice for the patio door. It worked better after the second fix. That patio door will likely remain a problem until it is replaced because it remains hard to open and close even after the fixes. Another is was that prior guests had left a full garbage can outside of the kitchen. It probably had been there for weeks and was not getting picked up because the real garbage can is outside one of the side bedrooms. We figured this out after the garbage we left outside of the kitchen was not picked up on garbage day. The kitchen cabinets were overpopulated and stuffed with a lot of pots, pans and utensils. That really should be paired down and unncessary things be removed to create more room. The cleaning was merely adequate and it seemed like the crew who does the work is not supervised upon completion. My suggestion is that a supervisor actually walk the house and surrounding areas shortly before a new guest arrives to ensure that everything is in good shape. The biggest plus is that it is very close to the beach and provided very good and direct access to it.

we enjoyed our time in this house. some things we would change: kitchen needs update as far as pots, silverware. need more plastic cups, dinner ware for use pool side. pool filtration was somewhat poor and water was cloudy throughout our stay. furnishings are very dated. would have preferred a more modern furnished, lighter colors, etc. enjoyed TVs in all bedrooms.

Relaxing vacation

We enjoyed a relaxing family vacation. The house needed a facelift. It was a throwback from the 70's. Also, the pool was cold because the trees block the sun from hitting it and we didn't realize we would have to pay to heat the hottub. The rental was clean and a convenient 8 minute walk from the beach.

The private pool and short walk to the beach was perfect for our family of four that included my husband, two college age daughters and myself. (along with our lab) We loved the bike trails, use of the Racquet Club and ability to walk to South Beach. Loved it.

Just looked for some R & R and were more than satisfied with a few minor setbacks that were attended to promptly. Even though Sea Pines Drive was no more that 40-50 ft. from the pool and hot-tub it was nicely secluded. The sliding glass door leading to the pool area from the living room was very convenient . The door could use some silicone as it was had to slide. Again a minor situation. Proximity to South Beach/Salty Dog was very nice.
