Close to the Salty Dog, far from the beach

This house is very comfortable because there are 4 independent bedrooms with their own bathroom. The back porch was also really nice. The pool was not too far from the house and was never crowded (and we were there for the 4th of July). The only drawback is that it is somewhat of a hike to the beach, especially if you are carrying lots of supplies, kids, etc. However, it is right across the street from the Salty Dog and right on the bike trail to all the Sea Pines amenities.

The Vacation Company was very easy to work with. They met all of our needs quickly and with courtesy. The home was the perfect home away from home for our family and relatives, including 4 children 3 years old and younger. The location was perfect for us, centered between the beach, the pool, and the shops and restaraunts of South Beach. We had a great time and would stay there again!

We had a wonderful time at 229 Beachside. The only complaint I had was that none of the DVD players worked. I am sur eit was an oversight. The home was comfortable and the weather that week in Hilton Head was amazing! We just want to thank the girls at Vacation Company for being so great!
